Telecalling Executives: Roles & Responsibilities


Telecallers are the voice of the company. In insurance, banks, and most sales/service setups, they drive the first customer touchpoint. Here’s the full breakdown:


Core Roles of a Telecalling Executive

Data Entry & CRM Update: Log every call outcome in software – Salesforce, Leadsquared, Core Banking. 100% disposition mandatory

Follow-ups: Call back as per schedule. 70% sales happen in follow-up 2 to 5, not first call

Target Achievement: Daily/weekly KPIs on calls, connects, leads, conversions, revenue

Compliance: DND scrub, call recording disclosure, no mis-selling. IRDAI/TRAI rules for insurance/banking calls
