Job Summary -

Leads regional Air & LCL tender and contract management execution to ensure timely, accurate, and commercially competitive RFQ Delivery in line with global governance and customer commitments. The role drives cross-functional alignment with Product, Process, Platforms, and Commercial teams to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance, pricing accuracy, and contract quality.
Accountable for managing complex and strategic tenders, improving process efficiency through standardization and automation, and ensuring strong quality and governance adherence. Also responsible for leading and developing a high-performing regional team with focus on capability building and performance delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Prepare and align Air & LCL tender season plans with areas, ensuring resource readiness, stakeholder alignment, and timely execution.
•    Manage Air & LCL tender quotations, customer nominations, and contract filings with a strong focus on commercial competitiveness, accuracy, and execution quality across all tender rounds.
•    Partner with Air/LCL Product, Procurement, Pricing, and Commercial teams to ensure customer solutions are competitive, commercially viable, and aligned with network capabilities and carrier agreements. 
•    Provide commercial leadership and governance for strategic Air & LCL RFQs, multi-country tenders, and complex customer opportunities. 
•    Conduct Root Cause Analysis for delays, Invoice Quality issues, and process deviations, ensuring learnings are captured and sustainable corrective actions are implemented. 
•    Partner with Functional Platform Owners and platform teams to support process, system, and automation initiatives that improve standardization, efficiency, and customer experience. 
•    Maintain compliance with global standards, governance requirements, and customer commitments while ensuring a customer-centric approach to execution. 
•    Lead, develop, and engage a high-performing regional team through effective coaching, performance management, succession planning, and capability building.

Key Skills 
•    Proven experience in end-to-end tender and RFQ management, including contract governance, rate filing, and complex multi-country bids. 
•    Strong commercial decision-making and leadership ability to balance growth, profitability, and operational feasibility in strategic customer deals. 
•    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global, cross-functional teams (Product, Pricing, Procurement, Platforms, and Commercial). 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including root cause analysis, invoice quality improvement, and data-driven process optimization. 
•    Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, performance management, and capability building. 

Required Business/ Technical Knowledge
•    Team leadership with ability to engage, coach, and develop talent.
•    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for global collaboration.
•    Deep understanding of tender management processes and contract filing requirements.
•    Customer-centric mindset with sense of urgency and accountability.
•    Analytical and tech-savvy approach to leverage data and automation for process improvement.
•    Enterprise thinking to balance regional/area priorities with global standards.
•    Strong understanding of Air Freight and LCL commercial models, including pricing structures, carrier/co-loader/ Vendor negotiations, trade lane dynamics, understanding of capacity management, and profitability drivers. 
•    Proven experience managing Air & LCL RFQs, contract governance, rate management, surcharge management, and customer-specific commercial solutions. 
•    Deep knowledge of Air Freight market trends, airline capacity movements, LCL network operations, consol/deconsol processes, gateway strategies, and their impact on pricing and customer competitiveness. 
•    Ability to partner with Product, Platform, Process and CPMs to develop competitive Air & LCL solutions that balance growth and operational feasibility.
