Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Position: AccountantLocation: Coimbatore Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee the accounting operations of the Head Office and coordinate with accounts personnel across all branch locations. The candidate will be responsible for financial monitoring, team supervision, outstanding collections follow-up, statutory compliance support, and coordination with auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Key Responsibilities:Accounts ManagementManage day-to-day accounting activities of the Head Office.
• Review and monitor accounting transactions of all branch offices.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintenance of accounts.
• Verify sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
• Branch Accounts MonitoringSupervise and support accounts staff across all branch locations.
• Monitor branch-wise accounting activities and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Review branch reports, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
• Provide guidance and support to branch accounts teams on accounting matters.
• Outstanding & Receivables ManagementMonitor customer outstanding balances across all branches.
• Coordinate with branch teams for payment follow-ups and collection status updates.
• Prepare periodic reports on receivables, overdue accounts, and collection performance.
• Ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.
• Team Management & CoordinationLead and manage the accounts team effectively.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making information.
• Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
• Proven experience in team handling and branch accounts monitoring.
• Excellent knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Experience in outstanding management and receivables follow-up.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Qualification:B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience:Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Prior experience in handling multiple branches and supervising accounts teams is preferred.
