Vehicle Technician

The Automobile Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role involves carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and adhering to company and manufacturer standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct periodic maintenance services as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace defective vehicle components and parts.
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical system repairs.
• Carry out road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance.
• Maintain accurate job cards and service records.
• Ensure quality standards and workshop safety procedures are followed.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and customer concerns.
• Attend technical training programs and update knowledge on new vehicle technologies.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / ITI in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
