Job Description
Handle legal and recovery matters related to secured and unsecured loan portfolios.
Draft, vet, and review:
- Loan agreements
- Mortgage documents
- Demand notices
- Recall notices
- Legal notices
- Affidavits and petitions
Manage SARFAESI proceedings including possession, auction, and enforcement actions.
Handle cheque bounce cases under Section 138 of NI Act.
Coordinate arbitration proceedings and recovery litigation.
Liaise with panel advocates, police officials, and government departments.
Conduct legal verification of property documents and title scrutiny.
Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and NBFC legal policies.
Monitor court cases and maintain litigation MIS reports.
Support branch and collection teams in legal recovery activities.
Attend court hearings and legal follow-ups when required.
Handle borrower disputes, settlements, and legal escalations professionally.
Coordinate with internal departments for legal documentation and compliance.
