Agency Business Manager
Job SummaryThe Agency Business Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, developing, and supporting Agency Business Partners to build a sustainable and profitable agency distribution network. The role focuses on partner activation, business growth, sales coaching, and ensuring partners achieve their business objectives through continuous guidance and support.
- Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment of Agency Business PartnersIdentify, approach, and recruit potential Agency Business Partners.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Conduct career presentations and explain the business opportunity.
- Complete the onboarding process for new partners.
- Business Partner DevelopmentTrain and mentor Agency Business Partners on products, sales processes, and business development.
- Help partners recruit and build their own team of insurance advisors.
- Conduct joint field calls and provide sales coaching.
- Support partners in achieving their business goals.
- Business GrowthDrive premium collection and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Monitor partner productivity and advisor activation.
- Assist partners in customer acquisition and relationship management.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with Agency Business Partners.
- Provide regular business reviews and performance feedback.
- Resolve operational and service-related issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of partner engagement and retention.
- Compliance & OperationsEnsure adherence to company policies and IRDAI regulations.
- Support documentation, licensing, and operational processes.
- Promote ethical sales practices and customer-first service.
- EligibilityGraduate in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales, BFSI, Insurance, Banking, or Channel Management.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
