Business Development Executive (Field Sales)

Location: Coimbatore
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, target-oriented, and self-motivated Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the Coimbatore region. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, including lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management, with a strong focus on field sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and market research
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline within assigned territories
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations
- Understand client requirements and propose customized solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue objectives
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for business expansion
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction
Educational Qualification
- MBA (Marketing) / BBA / Any Graduate with relevant sales experience
Experience & Core Competencies
- Proven experience in Field Sales / B2B Sales / Business Development
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and client acquisition
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
- Good understanding of business operations and account management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a target-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills
- Experience in industrial sales / consultancy / service sector is an added advantage
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively across industrial areas
- Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory)
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Fluency in Tamil and English
