Business Finance & Controllership - Lead

1. Business Finance & Controllership
   1. Act as the single point of accountability for business financial performance at the vertical level.
   2. Drive monthly MIS, dashboards, and costing reviews with deep analytical insights.
   3. Support the F&A Head in budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
   4. Partner with business heads to translate strategy into business plans and execution metrics.
2. Business Model Evaluation & Financial Viability
   1. Evaluate new business models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market structures.
   2. Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, project, and segment.
   3. Build controlling models for new initiatives, make-vs-buy decisions, and scale-up plans.
   4. Support strategic decisions through IRR, NPV, breakeven, and sensitivity analysis.
3. Costing, Cost Monitoring & Cost Audit
   1. Own product costing frameworks including standard cost, actual cost, and variance analysis.
   2. Establish and monitor cost control mechanisms across manufacturing / operations
   3. Conduct periodic cost audits and identify cost leakage, inefficiencies, and improvement levers.
   4. Drive cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with operations and supply chain teams
4. Inventory Reporting & Variance Analysis
   1. Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and ageing analysis from SAP
   2. Track and analyze inventory variances (price, quantity, mix, obsolescence).
   3. Ensure strong controls over slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
   4. Partner with operations to improve inventory turns and working capital efficiency
5. BOM Costing & New Product Cost Validation
   1. Own BOM-level costing and ensure accuracy in product cost build-ups.
   2. Validate new product costs before commercialization and pricing sign-off.
   3. Work closely with Engineering / R&D to assess design-to-cost opportunities.
   4. Ensure cost assumptions are realistic, auditable, and scalable
6. Governance, Controls & Stakeholder Management
   1. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
   2. Support internal and external audits from a business finance perspective.
   3. Act as a trusted finance partner to Operations, SCM, Engineering, Sales, and Corporate Finance
