CNC Programmer

A Good knowledge of CNC Turnning programming and quality inspection

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to create, modify, and optimize CNC machine programs for precision manufacturing. The candidate should be able to interpret engineering drawings, select appropriate tooling, and ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code/M-code.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Set up CNC machines and verify program accuracy before production.
• Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Conduct trial runs and troubleshoot programming or machining issues.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
• Optimize cycle time while maintaining product quality.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Maintain programming documentation and revision records.
• Follow safety standards and 5S practices in the workplace.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code).
• Experience with CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, or Milling machines.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, Edgecam, PowerMill, NX, or similar).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, and machining processes.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Tool & Die, or related field.
• Certification in CNC Programming or CAD/CAM is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Freshers–3years of experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar role.
