Job Description
- CNC Router Programmer & Operator – Required SkillsTechnical SkillsProficiency in CNC Router machine programming and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD drawings, and production specifications.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (such as ArtCAM, Aspire, AutoCAD, Alphacam, or similar).
- Experience in setting up CNC Router machines, selecting tools, and changing cutting bits.
- Knowledge of tool paths, cutting speeds, feed rates, and machining parameters.
- Ability to operate wood CNC routers for doors, frames, carvings, panels, and furniture components.
- Understanding of different wood materials such as Teak, Padauk, Sal Wood, MDF, Plywood, WPC, and Laminates.
- Ability to inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of machine safety procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Preferred SkillsExperience in 2D and 3D wood carving programming.
- Ability to optimize programs to reduce machining time and material wastage.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and meet production targets.
