Loading Supervisor Cum Incharge – TMT

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Loading Supervisor cum Incharge – TMT to manage loading operations at our steel manufacturing and trading unit. The candidate will be responsible for supervising manpower, ensuring timely dispatch of TMT steel, maintaining loading accuracy, and following all safety procedures.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily loading and dispatch activities of TMT bars.
• Ensure accurate loading as per invoices, delivery challans, and customer requirements.
• Plan and allocate manpower for loading operations.
• Coordinate with the Dispatch, Stores, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth material movement.
• Verify material quantity, size, grade, and bundle details before dispatch.
• Ensure loading is completed within the scheduled timelines.
• Maintain loading records, vehicle dispatch details, and daily reports.
• Monitor the availability of loading equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage during loading and transportation.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure workers use the required PPE.
• Handle customer and transporter queries related to loading and dispatch.
• Train and guide loading staff to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the loading yard.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of TMT steel products, loading, and dispatch operations.
• Experience in warehouse or yard management.
• Leadership and team-handling skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory and dispatch documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/ERP/SAP is an advantage).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
