Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 years of experience in product design and engineering. The candidate should have strong knowledge of CAD software, engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes. The role involves designing mechanical components, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with production teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA).
• Apply GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards in design.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Review and modify existing designs based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams during product development.
• Perform design calculations and feasibility studies.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control.
• Required SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (Creo/CATIA is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of sheet metal, machining, welding, and fabrication.
• Knowledge of material selection and design calculations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
