Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states.
• Visit OEMs, STP/ETP manufacturers, EPC contractors, consultants, industrial clients, dealers, and government organizations.
• Promote and sell:
• Industrial Submersible Pumps
• Sewage & Dewatering Pumps
• Multistage Pumps
• Roots Blowers
• Ring (Side Channel) Blowers
• Ozonators
• Industrial Pumping & Aeration Systems
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on flow, head, pressure, and process conditions.
• Prepare techno-commercial quotations and follow up until order closure.
• Build long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, industries, and channel partners.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate with the service and back-office teams for order execution.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and visit reports.

• STP, ETP, CETP and WTP Processes
• Aeration Systems
• Diffused Aeration
• Pump Selection
• Blower Selection
• Process Instrumentation (Preferred)
• Mechanical & Electrical Equipment used in wastewater treatment plants

Candidates with experience in selling equipment for water and wastewater treatment plants will be given preference.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial B2B sales experience.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer process requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable travelling extensively for customer visits.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Ability to independently handle complete sales cycles from enquiry generation to payment collection.
