Job Summary

Test Specialist responsible for functional testing and quality assurance in the Property Casualty PC Insurance domain The role focuses on handson test execution defect management and collaboration with crossfunctional Agile teams to ensure quality and timely delivery

Key Responsibilities

Planning Collaboration

Work closely with Business Analysts Tech Leads Product Owners and QA Leads to understand requirements and test scope

Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and daily Agile ceremonies

Review user stories to ensure clear acceptance criteria and testability

Provide test effort estimates for assigned modules or work items

Testing Quality Assurance

Develop review and execute functional test cases aligned with PC insurance business workflows

Perform componentlevel and API testing where applicable

Contribute to test plans and test scenarios as part of the overall QA strategy

Maintain traceability between requirements test cases execution results and defects

Defect UAT Support

Log track and validate defects through the defect lifecycle

Support Defect Review Board DRB discussions by providing defect analysis and retest updates

Assist in UAT defect tracking and coordination with business and development teams

Retest fixes and ensure closure of resolved defects

Risk Reporting Coordination

Monitor and report test execution status defect trends and quality metrics

Identify and highlight testing risks dependencies and blockers to QA Leads or Project Managers

Support release testing activities in coordination with Release and Dev teams

Process Continuous Improvement

Follow established QA processes standards and templates

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency and quality

Participate in defect root cause analysis and improvement planning

Ensure accurate data updates in QA dashboards and scorecards

NonFunctional Compliance Support

Assist in identifying and validating NonFunctional Requirements NFRs

Ensure test execution adheres to organizational QA standards and PC regulatory expectations

Skills Experience

57 years of experience in functional testing preferably within PC Insurance

Strong understanding of AgileScrum testing practices

Handson experience with test case design defect management tools and API testing

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within crossfunctional teams
