Job Description
Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Department: Sales
Location: Field-BasedJob ( Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Hosur, Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Kanchipuram, Tindivanam, Porur, Vellore, Karur, Udumalpet. )
Summary:
We are hiring a driven Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell industrial products, including lubricants and engineering tools from leading brands such as Castrol, PETRONAS, MSL, and GROZ. The role focuses on field sales, where the candidate will visit industrial clients, build strong customer relationships, and generate new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit industries and industrial clusters to promote company products
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business
- Identify and develop new customers to expand market reach
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Negotiate pricing and close sales deals effectively
- Generate orders and ensure proper order processing
- Coordinate with logistics/transport team for timely delivery
- Follow up with customers for feedback and payment collection (if required)
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering
- Freshers can apply; prior sales experience is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of industrial products, lubricants, or tools
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must own a two-wheeler (Bike)
- Valid Driving License
- Willingness to travel extensively for field sales
