Job Summary The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and after-sales service of Margo Industries' equipment at customer sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer handling abilities to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and machine uptime.

• Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning Install and commission pneumatic conveying and automation systems at customer sites.
• Perform machine trials and ensure smooth operation before project handover.
• Verify installation as per approved engineering drawings and standards.
• Service & Maintenance Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults.
• Rectify machine issues within committed response time.
• Perform machine inspections and recommend improvements.
• Technical Support Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Guide customers regarding machine operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, and Projects teams for technical resolutions.
• Documentation Prepare and submit service reports after every site visit.
• Maintain records of service activities, spare parts used, and customer feedback.
• Update daily travel and service reports to the reporting manager.
• Customer Relationship Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively and courteously.
• Build long-term customer relationships through quality service.
• Spare Parts Support Identify spare parts requirements during service visits.
• Recommend replacement parts and coordinate with the sales/service team.
• Assist customers in preventive maintenance planning.
• Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety procedures and customer site safety regulations.
• Wear mandatory PPE while working at customer locations.
• Ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Required Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge or experienced candidates are welcome.
• Experience1–5 years in Industrial Automation, Pneumatic Conveying Systems, Machinery Installation, or Industrial Equipment Service.
• Freshers may also apply.
• Required Skills Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• PLC and HMI basic knowledge.
• Reading electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Travel Requirements Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Ability to stay at customer locations as per project requirements.
• Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
