Job Description
- ResponsibilitiesPrepare and bake breads, buns, pastries, cookies, cakes, and café bakery items
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
- Handle dough preparation, proofing, shaping, baking, and finishing
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and baking area
- Monitor ingredient stock and inform management about shortages
- Ensure products are fresh, properly stored, and prepared on schedule
- Assist with new menu development and seasonal specials when needed
- Work efficiently during rush hours and maintain production timelines
- RequirementsPrevious experience in baking or bakery production preferred
- Basic knowledge of breads, pastries, and baking techniques
- Ability to work early mornings and manage prep schedules
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Team-oriented, disciplined, and punctual
- Passion for artisan café-style baking
- Preferred SkillsExperience with sourdough, laminated doughs, or café-style baked goods
- Familiarity with commercial baking equipment
