Job Description
Lift Service & Call Back Technician FOR DEHRADUN
Job Responsibilities
1. Attend scheduled preventive maintenance (AMC) visits as per the service route plan.
2. Respond promptly to lift breakdowns and emergency call-back complaints.
3. Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical components of elevators.
4. Carry out repairs, adjustments, and replacement of defective parts.
5. Ensure safe rescue of trapped passengers, following company safety procedures.
6. Inspect lift performance, door operation, ARD, safety circuits, and control panels during each visit.
7. Record all work performed in the service report/app or service register.
8. Inform the Service Manager about major faults requiring quotations or spare parts.
9. Maintain cleanliness of the lift machine room, pit, and car top after service.
10. Educate clients on proper lift usage and report any misuse or damage.
11. Report daily attendance, completed jobs, pending complaints, and material requirements.
12. Escalate repeated breakdowns or safety-related issues immediately to the Service Manager.
13. Achieve response and closure timelines as defined by the company.
14. Assist during annual inspections, lift licensing inspections, and modernization work when required.
15. Ensure customer signatures are obtained on every completed service or breakdown report.
16. Represent the company professionally while maintaining discipline, honesty, and confidentiality.
