Accountant

An Accounts Executive with Advanced Excel manages day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance. They utilize advanced spreadsheet capabilities (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for financial analysis, MIS reporting, and process automation to support company audits and management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

. Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare and automate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts using Advanced Excel

. Bookkeeping & Ledgers: Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded

. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage employee expense reports, and follow up with clients on outstanding payments

. Reconciliation: Perform daily/monthly bank and client ledger reconciliations to resolve any financial discrepancies

. Compliance & Taxes: Assist in preparing and filing statutory taxes (GST, TDS, etc.) and ensure the company adheres to financial regulations

. Financial Reporting: Support the finance team in generating balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis reports

. Audits: Provide necessary documentation, receipts, and reports for internal and external audits

Required Technical Skills

Advanced Excel: Proficiency in complex formulas (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), Pivot Tables, macros/VBA, data validation, and financial modeling.

Accounting Software: Strong working knowledge of standard platforms like Tally Prime, SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle.

Taxation: Solid understanding of Indian tax structures and compliance (GST, TDS, and Income Tax)
