Job Description – Accountant

Location: Bahadurgarh

Business Type: Footwear Shop / Retail Business

We are looking for an Accountant for a footwear retail shop based in Bahadurgarh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
  • Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts and payments
  • Maintain stock and inventory-related records
  • Handle billing and basic GST-related work
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements
  • Maintain cash book and daily cash records
  • Follow up on receivables and payables
  • Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers and documents

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP
  • Basic knowledge of GST
  • Good understanding of retail accounting
  • Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Honest, responsible, and disciplined approach

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting preferred
  • Experience in retail/footwear/showroom accounting will be an added advantage
