Job Description
GST & Indirect Tax
• File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9/9C for both companies within due dates
• Perform monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation and manage ITC claims and reversals
• Handle GST notices, demands, and departmental correspondence
• Manage e-way bill generation and monitor applicability
TDS & Direct Tax
• Deduct TDS under applicable sections (194C, 194J, 194I, 194H, 194Q, etc.) and ensure timely payment
• File quarterly TDS returns — 24Q and 26Q — and generate Form 16 / 16A
• Reconcile 26AS / AIS and resolve Traces defaults or mismatches
• Track advance tax liability and ensure timely payment of all four instalments
• Coordinate with statutory auditor / CA for ITR filing and tax audit (Form 3CD/3CB)
Books of Accounts & MIS
• Maintain complete, up-to-date books in Tally Prime for both companies
• Prepare monthly trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet for management review
• Manage fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and capex tracking
• Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports
Banking, Debtors & Creditors
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts across both companies
• Manage accounts payable — timely vendor payments within credit terms
• Maintain debtor aging, follow up on overdue receivables, and share SOAs
• Track customer advances, security deposits, and reconcile against invoices
• Process NEFT/RTGS payments and maintain documentation
Bank Guarantees & Financial Instruments
• Maintain a comprehensive bank guarantee register — BG number, issuing bank, beneficiary, amount, expiry
• Track BG expiry dates and coordinate renewals with the bank in advance
• Manage security deposits given and received; record and monitor refunds
Billing, Sales & Purchases
• Raise customer invoices (project, AMC, product supply) and maintain invoice register
• Handle credit notes, debit notes, and billing disputes
• Process vendor purchase bills and ensure PO-to-invoice matching
• Track and report pending POs, GRNs, and capex purchases
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
• Process monthly payroll, compute deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), and coordinate bank transfers
• File monthly EPF ECR and ESI returns; ensure timely statutory payments
• Prepare and distribute Form 16 (Part A and B) annually
ROC / MCA & Secretarial Support
• Provide financial data support for annual ROC filings — AOC-4 and MGT-7
• Coordinate with Company Secretary for compliance calendar adherence
• Maintain statutory registers and board resolution files
