Job Description
Position Overview
The Sales & Customer Support Executive is responsible for managing customer inquiries, converting leads into sales, preparing quotations, maintaining the product catalogue, and providing exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels. The role also includes supporting day-to-day business operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received through various communication channels, including chat, email, messaging platforms, and telephone.
- Understand customer requirements and convert inquiries into successful sales by providing accurate product information and effective sales support.
- Prepare and send quotations using the company's approved quotation template, making necessary edits based on customer requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update the product catalogue by adding new products and removing prohibited, restricted, discontinued, or unavailable products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, orders, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely customer updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through excellent communication and follow-up.
- Complete any additional duties or special assignments delegated by the Company that are consistent with the employee's role and responsibilities.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, workshops, and conferences as required by the Company.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Required Skills & QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations and maintaining records.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
