Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer with experience in building structural strengthening, jacketing work, retrofitting, waterproofing, and reinforcement inspection. The candidate should have practical knowledge of RCC structures, cement and steel quality standards, and site execution activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute site work as per the direction of the Engineer In-Charge.
• Check reinforcement density, steel spacing, lap length, and bar placement as per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper concrete quality, cement usage, and workmanship during execution.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting activities before casting.
• Handle RCC repair and rehabilitation works.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance at site.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of RCC structures and reinforcement checking.
• Experience in building structures, jacketing, retrofitting, and waterproofing works.
• Understanding of cement, concrete, and steel quality standards.
• Ability to read structural drawings and BOQ.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site documentation.
• Good communication and site management skills.

Qualification:

• Minimum B.Tech in Civil Engineering and Diploma in civil with 3 year experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 Year of experience in:
• Jacketing Work
• Retrofitting
• Waterproofing
• RCC Repair & Rehabilitation
• Reinforcement Inspection
• Building Structures

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidate should be willing to travel to project sites.
• Ability to handle site execution independently.
• Strong practical knowledge of construction and repair activities.
