Design Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Design Manager to lead our design division. In this role, you will spearhead end-to-end design projects — from concept ideation to on-site execution — for corporate interiors, commercial spaces, and premium fit-out projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and vendors to deliver creative, functional, and commercially viable design solutions that reflect our brand of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

›       Lead concept development, space planning, and overall design strategy for each project

›       Manage interior design projects end-to-end — from initial brief through to site execution

›       Conduct client meetings, gather requirements, and deliver compelling design presentations

›       Prepare mood boards, design concepts, layout plans, and material/finish selections

›       Review and approve working drawings, BOQs, specifications, and design documentation

›       Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams to ensure design intent is upheld

›       Ensure all designs meet quality standards, budget parameters, and project timelines

›       Mentor, guide, and manage junior designers and the broader design team

›       Stay current with global design trends, innovative materials, and market developments

Qualifications & Skills

›       Bachelor's Degree / Graduate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field (mandatory)

›       Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Interior Design, Design Management, or Project Design

›       Strong expertise in space planning, material selection, finishes, and furniture systems

›       Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite

›       Excellent communication, client-handling, presentation, and team leadership skills

›       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates with experience in Interior Fit-Outs, Corporate Interiors, Commercial Design, Workspace Design, Architecture, or the Construction sector will be given strong preference.
