Job Description
Electrical Technician duties and responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
• Collaborate with other technicians to optimize electrical systems and equipment
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Performing general electrical maintenance.
• Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Technician should have utilities background and should have at least general O&M knowledge of DG sets, oil and dry type transformer, ACB,VCB, Lt panels, HT panels, Motors, earthpits.
• Daily & Monthly checklist filling.
Education: ITI+diploma
