Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented E-Commerce & Government Marketplace Executive who will be responsible for managing our presence across various online marketplaces and government procurement portals. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing product listings, generating sales, handling inquiries, and maintaining complete operational activities on multiple online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Government Marketplace (GeM) Management

• Manage and operate the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal efficiently.
• Create and maintain product catalogs on GeM.
• Participate in bids, reverse auctions, and direct purchase opportunities.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical documents, and compliance documents.
• Track bid status, order execution, delivery timelines, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure complete compliance with GeM policies and guidelines.

E-Commerce Marketplace Management

• Create, manage, and optimize seller accounts on platforms such as:

• Amazon India
• Flipkart Seller Hub
• IndiaMART
• TradeIndia
• Other relevant B2B/B2C marketplaces.
• Upload and optimize product listings, images, specifications, and pricing.
• Monitor marketplace performance and improve product visibility.
• Handle customer inquiries, RFQs, orders, and complaints received through online platforms.
• Manage inventory synchronization across multiple marketplaces.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor competitor pricing and marketplace trends.

Digital Sales & Lead Management

• Generate leads and sales through online channels.
• Track and maintain inquiry databases received from online platforms.
• Follow up with prospects and convert inquiries into sales orders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete records of online sales, bids, inquiries, and customer communications.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Coordinate with the accounts department for invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in GeM and E-commerce marketplace management.
• Hands-on experience with GeM Portal operations including bidding and catalog management.
• Experience managing seller accounts on Amazon, Flipkart, IndiaMART, TradeIndia, and other marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of product listing optimization and digital sales.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of industrial products, electronic components, or automation products will be an added advantage.
