Job Description
Job SummaryThe Dispatch Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the dispatch of goods to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries. They manage dispatch staff, coordinate with warehouse and transport teams, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and oversee daily dispatch operations.
- Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams.
- Monitor vehicle allocation, route planning, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain dispatch records, invoices, delivery challans, and shipping documents.
- Resolve delivery delays, customer complaints, and operational issues.
- Track KPIs such as on-time dispatch, delivery accuracy, and vehicle utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company procedures.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate dispatch executives and support staff.
- Optimize dispatch processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
