Job Description
Job Summary
The International Patient Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for international patients seeking medical treatment. The role involves coordinating patient care, managing communication between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating travel and accommodation arrangements, and ensuring a seamless patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between international patients, doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare departments.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate medical appointments, consultations, diagnostic tests, admissions, and discharge processes.
- Obtain and review medical records, reports, and treatment plans for physician evaluation.
- Prepare treatment estimates, package details, and cost quotations for patients.
- Assist patients with visa invitation letters, medical visa documentation, and travel-related requirements.
- Coordinate airport transfers, accommodation bookings, and local transportation arrangements when required.
- Provide language assistance and coordinate interpreter services, if necessary.
- Ensure continuous communication with patients and their attendants before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in hospital management systems.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient care delivery.
- Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Conduct follow-up calls and collect patient satisfaction feedback after treatment completion.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, confidentiality standards, and international patient service protocols.
