Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and drive sales operations across the assigned territory for our sanitary and bath fittings products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and distribution management, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and achieve sales targets. The role requires pan-India travel, with a focus on developing new business, managing key accounts, and ensuring the growth of existing relationships.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Sales Target Achievement: Drive and achieve sales targets for sanitary and bath fittings within the assigned area, ensuring a consistent and steady growth of the business.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage the performance of the sales team within the region to ensure productivity, sales targets, and KPIs are met.
- Dealer & Distributor Network Development: Build and maintain a robust network of dealers, distributors, and retailers in the assigned area, ensuring proper channel management and growth.
- Business Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities, including expanding the customer base and opening new retail locations.
- Market Penetration: Strategize and implement local and regional marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and sales across the area.
- Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Knowledge & Promotion: Conduct regular product knowledge sessions, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns for the dealers, distributors, and sales team.
- Inventory & Order Management: Oversee inventory management, ensuring timely product availability and the efficient dispatch of orders from regional warehouses.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, competitor activities, and market trends, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Budget Management: Manage the area’s sales and marketing budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective promotions and customer outreach programs.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve customer complaints, ensuring fast, professional, and courteous solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
