Job Title: Senior Accountant Manager – Government Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for government infrastructure projects. The role involves handling project accounting, compliance with government regulations, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts for infrastructure projects

Prepare and monitor project budgets and expenditures

Process invoices, payments, and vendor bills

Ensure compliance with government accounting standards and tax regulations

Assist in audits and prepare financial reports

Reconcile bank statements and track project costs

Coordinate with project managers and government authorities

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in infrastructure or government projects)

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with government tenders or contracts

Understanding of project-based accounting
