Job Description
The ETP / RO Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems to ensure proper water treatment and compliance with company and pollution control standards in the pharmaceutical plant.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor ETP, RO, DM Plant, Softener, and Water Treatment systems.
- Check water parameters such as pH, TDS, conductivity, hardness, and flow rate.
- Maintain proper operation of pumps, motors, filters, valves, and dosing systems.
- Record daily operational parameters and maintain logbooks.
- Handle chemical dosing and regeneration activities safely.
- Ensure treated water and discharge meet regulatory standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for utility support.
- Follow GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping in utility and treatment plant areas.
- Support audits and documentation related to ETP/RO operations.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of ETP, STP, RO, DM Plant operations.
- Understanding of water treatment processes and chemical handling.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to maintain records and reports.
- Awareness of safety and pollution control norms.
- QualificationITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
- Experience in Pharma / Manufacturing Industry preferred.
