Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counselling & Guidance

• Counsel prospective students and parents about courses, eligibility, fees, and career prospects
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs
• Provide accurate and updated information about the institution

2. Lead Management & Follow-up

• Handle inquiries through calls, emails, walk-ins, and online portals
• Maintain and update lead data in CRM/software
• Conduct regular follow-ups to convert leads into admissions

3. Admission Process Management

• Manage the complete admission cycle from inquiry to enrollment
• Assist students in filling application forms and completing documentation
• Ensure proper verification of documents and eligibility

4. Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets
• Plan and execute strategies to increase admissions
• Participate in admission campaigns, events, and seminars

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth processing
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions
• Maintain accurate student records

6. Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents
• Ensure a positive admission experience
• Handle queries, objections, and complaints effectively

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in counselling/admissions/sales (freshers can apply)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong convincing and negotiation ability
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
• Target-oriented and result-driven mindset
