Design And Development Engineer

Design and development of fabrication parts (Sheet Metal, Tubular, Structural)

Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software

Development of new products and improvement of existing designs

Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and cost estimation

Coordination with production, quality, and purchase departments

Handling PPAP documentation, drawing release, and change management

Vendor development support for fabrication parts

Knowledge of manufacturing processes:

• Laser Cutting
• Bending
• MIG Welding
• Powder Coating / CED

AutoCAD, SolidWorks / Creo (must)

Good understanding of GD&T and fabrication tolerances

Knowledge of sheet metal design and nesting
