JUNIOR HYDRALIC & SERVICE ENGINEER

You’ll be the go‑to person for keeping the hydraulic systems and field service of our crushing equipment running smooth. Your day is a mix of on‑site repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting hydraulic circuits on big‑iron machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses on crushers, screens, and conveyors.

- Diagnose and fix hydraulic leaks, pressure loss, and component wear; replace seals, pistons, or motors as needed.

- Perform scheduled service (oil changes, filter replacements, system flushes) and update maintenance logs.

- Respond to field calls, troubleshoot faults on‑site, and get machines back up quickly to meet production schedules.

- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins.

- Carry out root‑cause analysis on recurring hydraulic issues and implement corrective actions.

- Keep inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables; raise purchase orders when stock runs low.

- Train operators and junior technicians on safe handling of hydraulic equipment and basic fault‑finding.

What We Need

- Proven experience with hydraulic systems in heavy‑machinery or mining equipment.

- Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools (pressure gauges, flow meters).

- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments; must follow safety protocols.

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade certification; hydraulic specialist certification is a plus.

- Strong problem‑solving mindset, good communication skills, and a team‑oriented attitude.

Work Environment

- Mix of shop‑floor work and field service visits to client sites; occasional travel within the region.

- Shift work may be required during peak production or emergency calls.
