PGT Business Studies & Accountancy Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) to teach Accountancy and Business Studies to Classes XI and XII students under the CBSE curriculum.

The candidate must be well-versed in the latest CBSE syllabus, board exam patterns, and must be able to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

The role requires preparing lesson plans, conducting regular tests, and providing detailed feedback to students and parents.

Key responsibilities

1. Teach Accountancy (Financial Statements, Partnership, Company Accounts) and Business Studies (Management, Finance, Marketing) to Class XI & XII
2. Prepare detailed lesson plans and teaching material as per the CBSE syllabus
3. Conduct unit tests, assignments, and pre-board examinations
4. Evaluate answer sheets and give constructive feedback to students
5. Maintain class discipline and ensure a positive learning environment
6. Guide students for board exam preparation and career counselling in Commerce stream
7. Attend parent-teacher meetings and staff meetings as required
8. Use smart board / digital tools to make classes interactive and engaging

Qualifications required

Education: M.Com / MBA (Finance or Accounting) or equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognized university

B.Ed mandatory — Bachelor of Education in Commerce / Social Sciences

CTET / STET / TET qualified preferred (Paper II — Social Studies / Commerce)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE school at senior secondary level

Strong subject knowledge in both Accountancy and Business Studies

Good communication skills in English
