 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Production Team Leader will serve as the first line of management on our shop floor — directing a team of 30–40 operators, driving production targets, upholding quality standards, and building a culture of discipline and continuous improvement across our electronics and appliances manufacturing lines.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

▸  Lead and supervise a team of 30–40 production operators to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets across assembly lines.

▸  Translate production plans into actionable shift schedules and monitor real-time progress through MIS reports and visual management boards.

▸  Enforce adherence to SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality Control plans; conduct in-process checks and maintain first-pass yield targets.

▸  Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality rejections using 5-Whys and 7 QC Tools; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

▸  Conduct daily shift briefings, allocate tasks based on skill levels, and provide regular performance feedback and coaching to team members.

▸  Onboard and train new operators on processes, product specifications, and safety protocols within defined timelines.

▸  Champion 5S and EHS standards; conduct safety walkthroughs and ensure zero-incident compliance on the shop floor.

▸  Maintain accurate shift reports, downtime logs, and rejection records; present summaries to the Production Manager.

▸  Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement projects; support NPD teams during pilot runs and new product launches.

 PREFERRED / GOOD TO HAVE

✔  Bluetooth Audio / TWS Manufacturing — Hands-on experience with TWS, neckband, or speaker assembly lines.

✔  Appliances Manufacturing Exposure — Prior experience in personal or kitchen appliances production.

✔  Lean / Six Sigma Certification — Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or equivalent structured certification.

✔  Kaizen & CI Projects — Demonstrated experience leading improvement projects with measurable results.
