Job Description
Job Description – Quality Associate / Production Lineman
- Qualification- ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, Production Technology, or equivalent)
- Experience- 0–5 years (Freshers can apply)
- Department- Quality/Production
Key Responsibilities-
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts.
- Measure components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Go/No-Go Gauges.
- Identify and segregate defective parts.
- Maintain inspection records and quality check sheets.
- Follow inspection plans and work instructions.
- Report quality issues to the Quality Engineer/Supervisor.
- Perform assembly, deburring, cleaning, packing, and material handling.
- Assist machine operators and production supervisors.
- Ensure proper handling of finished and semi-finished products.
- Maintain production output as per daily targets.
- Follow work instructions and quality requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and traceability of materials.
- Maintain 5S and safety standards in the inspection area.
Required Skills-
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of measuring instruments.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
