Service Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Service Engineer – Dispatch & Coordination who will be responsible for managing service dispatch activities, coordinating with field engineers, and ensuring timely resolution of customer service requests.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

• Plan and manage daily service dispatch schedules for field engineers
• Coordinate with customers for service visits, installations, and breakdown support
• Assign service calls based on priority, location, and engineer availability
• Track service requests and ensure timely closure
• Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, stores, logistics) for spare parts dispatch
• Monitor pending cases and follow up for quick resolution
• Support in handling customer queries and escalations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely allocation and closure of service calls
• Reduction in pending/overdue service requests
• Customer satisfaction and response time
• Accuracy in service records and reporting
• Effective coordination with internal and field teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 1–4 years of experience in service coordination or dispatch
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic technical understanding of machines/equipment
• Familiarity with CRM or service management tools (preferred)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
