Job Description – SST Teacher (Grades 6th to 10th)

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SST Teacher for Grades 6th to 10th who can create an engaging learning environment and help students develop a strong understanding of Social Science concepts.

Responsibilities:

Teach Social Science subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to students of Grad 6th to 10th.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment papers.

Maintain discipline and ensure active classroom participation.

Conduct regular tests, evaluations, and provide feedback on students’ performance.

Use creative teaching methods and activities to make learning interactive.

Maintain students’ records, notebooks, and academic progress.

Participate in school events, meetings, PTMs, and other academic activities.

Ensure timely completion of syllabus and revision work.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Science or relevant subject.

B.Ed. qualification preferred.

Good communication and classroom management skills.

Teaching experience for middle and secondary classes preferred.

Ability to use smart classroom and digital teaching tools.
