Job Description
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and build a pipeline of potential clients — schools, colleges, universities, coaching centers, and training institutes — through cold calling, networking, email outreach, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals.
Consultative Selling: Understand each institution's operational challenges and map them to relevant ERP modules (admissions, fees, attendance, exams, library, transport, HR/payroll, etc.). Position Campus On Click as a problem-solving partner, not just a vendor.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct live and virtual demos of the ERP platform to decision-makers including Principals, Directors, Registrars, Trustees, and IT Heads. Tailor each presentation to the institution's specific needs and scale.
Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire deal lifecycle from first contact to contract closure — including needs analysis, proposal creation, negotiation, objection handling, commercial finalization, and handover to the implementation team.
Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at target institutions. Maintain regular follow-ups and nurture leads that are not yet ready to buy.
Revenue Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
CRM & Reporting: Log all activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the company CRM. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management with pipeline health, conversion rates, and market feedback.
Market Intelligence: Stay current on competitors, pricing trends, government education policies (NEP 2020, NAAC/NIRF digitization requirements), and emerging EdTech opportunities. Share market insights with product and marketing teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs, accurate solution scoping, and high client satisfaction post-sale.
Events & Field Work: Represent Campus On Click at education expos, trade shows, seminars, and institution visits. Be willing to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
