Job Description
Business Development Manager – School (Admissions & Outreach)
Role Objective
To drive student admissions, brand visibility, and institutional partnerships for the school by developing and executing strategic marketing and outreach plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Revenue Growth
2. Achieve monthly & annual admission targets (especially Class 11th & key entry classes)
3. Handle walk-ins, inquiries, and conversion funnel
4. Conduct counselling sessions with parents & students
5. Follow-up on leads (calls, WhatsApp, CRM)
6. School Tie-ups & Outreach
7. Build relationships with: Feeder schools (Class 10th pass-outs), Coaching institutes (NEET/JEE), Local influencers / education consultants
8. Organize seminars, career counselling sessions, school visits
9. Marketing & Branding (Plan and execute): Offline campaigns (pamphlets, hoardings, events)
10. Digital campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads)
11. Coordinate for: Brochures, banners, admission creatives
12. Manage school reputation & visibility in local market
Track campaign performance (ROI based thinking)
Provide weekly reports to management
Events & Activities
Organize:
Admission drives
Open houses
Workshops & exhibitions
Represent school in education fairs
Strategy & Planning :
Analyze competitor schools
Suggest pricing, offers, scholarships
Identify new admission channels & growth opportunities
