HVAC Design Engineer (AHU Manufacturing)

Job

• ResponsibilitiesDesign and prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and coil layouts for AHUs.
• Perform AHU selection, heat load calculations, airflow calculations, and static pressure calculations.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams for smooth execution.
• Select fans, motors, coils, filters, dampers, and other AHU components.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Provide technical support to the sales and production teams.

Required Skills

Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of experience in AHU/HVAC equipment design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, psychometrics, and AHU manufacturing.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and insulation.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and engineering documentation.

Preferred

• CandidateExperience in AHU, FCU, Fresh Air Unit, or Ventilation Equipment manufacturing.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadline.
