Job Description – Purchase Executive(import)
Department: Purchase / Procurement
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
• Handle purchase of raw materials, components, and consumables
• Identify and develop new vendors/suppliers
• Negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs)
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
• Maintain purchase records and documentation
• Coordinate with production, accounts, and stores team
• Ensure cost control and quality compliance
• Track and manage pending orders and stock levels

Eligibility Criteria
• Qualification:
* B.Com (1st Division) OR
* B.Tech (Engineering)
• Experience:
* Minimum 1 year experience in purchase/procurement

Skills Required
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of purchase process and vendor management
• Good command over MS Excel and documentation
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Analytical and cost-conscious approach
