Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Cashier to handle billing operations at Bazario Supermart. The role requires accuracy, speed, and integrity while working on Marg ERP for billing and payment processing. The cashier must also be flexible to assist on the store floor during rush hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Operations

Generate accurate bills using Marg ERP

Ensure correct item scanning, quantity, and pricing

Avoid billing errors, duplicate entries, or missed items

2. Payment Handling

Accept payments via cash, UPI, card, and other modes

Ensure correct mode of payment is selected in billing system (Mandatory)

No mismatch between actual payment and billing entry

3. Cash Management

Maintain 100% accuracy in cash handling

Ensure proper opening and closing cash balance

Immediately report any cash shortage/excess

No unauthorized adjustments allowed

4. Customer Interaction

Maintain polite and professional behavior with customers

Handle basic customer queries at billing counter

Ensure smooth and quick checkout experience

5. Support During Rush Hours

Be available to assist on store floor during high customer traffic

Help in managing customer flow and coordination with staff

Support packing, product locating, or queue handling when required

6. Discipline & Compliance

Follow all store rules and billing procedures strictly

No misuse of billing system, discounts, or manual overrides

Maintain cleanliness and organization at billing counter

Important Rules (Strictly Enforced)

Correct billing and payment mode entry is compulsory

Any mismatch in cash or billing will lead to strict action

Unauthorized discounts or manipulation is prohibited

Leaving counter without permission is not allowed

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of computer and billing software (Marg preferred)

Good numerical ability and attention to detail

Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude

Ability to work under pressure in retail environment

Experience

1–3 years experience as cashier preferred

Freshers with good learning ability can be considered

Have you handled cash transactions independently?

Are you comfortable working during rush hours and assisting on floor?
