Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts department
- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and income tax regulations
- Handle audits (internal & external) and coordinate with auditors
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial planning
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor reconciliations
- Lead and mentor the accounts team
- Coordinate with other departments for financial insights and decision-making
- RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CA Inter preferred)
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance laws
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Preferred QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
