Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise work: Oversee daily building tasks and check that work matches design drawings.
  • Set out the site: Mark out the layout, levels, and boundaries on the ground.
  • Solve problems: Fix technical difficulties and answer questions from workers or builders.
  • Safety and quality: Enforce health and safety rules and run quality checks on materials.
  • Report progress: Write daily logs and update project managers on progress.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or diploma in civil engineering or construction.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of CAD software, reading blueprints, and math.
  • Communication: Clear speaking skills to work with clients, architects, and laborers.
