Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Requirement – Shipment Inspection & Business Development Executive (Furniture & Home Décor)

We are looking for a proactive candidate who can manage shipment inspections, dispatch coordination, documentation, and business development activities for furniture and home décor products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect furniture and home décor shipments at factories and warehouses within the city and outstation locations.

* Conduct quality checks before dispatch and ensure products meet company standards and buyer requirements.

* Manage dispatch planning and coordinate with transporters, vendors, and warehouses.

* Prepare packing lists, invoices, dispatch documents, and shipment reports.

* Follow up with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely shipment readiness.

* Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation.

* Identify and approach potential buyers through emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.

* Assist in generating new business opportunities and developing customer relationships.

* Coordinate with existing customers regarding orders, shipment status, and product requirements.

Required Skills:

* Experience in furniture, home décor, merchandising, logistics, or export operations.

* Knowledge of shipment inspection, packing standards, dispatch procedures, packing lists, and invoicing.

* Good communication and email-writing skills.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email correspondence.

* Willingness to travel for factory visits and shipment inspections.

* Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Experience:

* 1-2 years in furniture, home décor, handicrafts, textiles, exports, or merchandising.

* Experience in dealing with domestic and international buyers.
