Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-friendly cashier to handle transactions and provide excellent service to customers. The role involves managing payments, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Greet customers politely and assist them during checkout
- Scan items and ensure accurate billing
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout counter
- Answer customer queries and provide basic product information
- Resolve customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate person
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
- Follow company policies and security procedures
- Support team members when required
