Job Description
Vendor Management: Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate performance based on cost and quality, and negotiate favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Procurement Execution: Process Purchase Orders (POs), track shipments, and verify that received goods match the ordered specifications and quality standards.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, forecast future purchasing needs, and reconcile discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments, and with internal departments (like production or operations) to fulfill material requirements.
