Carpenter

Job SummaryThe Carpenter is responsible for performing carpentry work related to the installation, repair, maintenance, and fabrication of wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, partitions, and other building components. The role ensures that all carpentry work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and quality requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain wooden furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, partitions, shelves, and office fixtures.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of wooden structures and furniture.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Inspect office furniture and wooden fittings to identify repair or replacement requirements.
• Replace damaged locks, hinges, handles, door closers, and other hardware as needed.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely.
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with the Facilities and Maintenance teams to complete assigned work within the required timelines.
• Ensure work areas are clean and safe after completion of each task.
• Maintain inventory of carpentry tools, materials, and spare parts and report replenishment needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Support office renovation, relocation, and fit-out projects as required.
